Master of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering: The Master of Engineering degree is an engineering practice-oriented program requiring a minimum of 36 credit hours (A minimum of 24 credit hours of coursework must be in MSE courses.). A maximum of six hours may be a special project. A final program examination is required of all master's degree candidates. Non-thesis degree candidates will fulfill the program examination requirement upon the successful completion of MSE 5192, Master's Comprehensive Examination.
