The Kitchen & Bath Design program at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh has been developed to educate a highly specialized generation of interior designer and prepare them for the challenges ahead. Graduates are prepared to seek entry level positions as a kitchen/bath designer, kitchen planner, assistant project manager/installation coordinator, draftsperson, kitchen and bath retail sales consultant, installation coordinator, and manufacturer's representative. After gaining industry experience and professional certifications graduates can pursue advanced career opportunities within the field including, senior kitchen and bath designer, specialty consultant for home builder/contractor, installation manager. The mission of the Associate of Science degree program in Kitchen & Bath Design is to prepare students to become specialized kitchen and bath professionals within the interior design market.
