Golf Course Management from SUNY College of Technology at Delhi is a Campus Bachelor Golf Management degree that prepares you for a Hospitality career. The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree program in Golf Course Management is designed to prepare future management personnel for the growing number of golf courses in the region and the nation. This program is unique and the only program in the Northeast that is designed so that students develop skills in the science of turfgrass management as well as become proficient in the business and communications aspects of the job. Our curriculum is intended to give students extensive hands-on experience in the classroom, laboratory, as well as working on our 18-hole golf course or numerous athletic fields. Additionally, students gain credits and invaluable paid working experience during four required summer internships at facilities across the country. This allows students to seamlessly transfer into turfgrass management careers upon graduation. Currently, SUNY Delhi graduates have a 100% placement rate and are working at some of the country's most prestigious properties around the world. The golf industry is larger than the newspaper industry; larger than performing arts and spectator sports; and larger than the motion picture and video business. The total economic impact of golf in America in 2009, including direct, indirect and induced impacts, was $195 billion.
