This curriculum takes a multidisciplinary approach that combines and integrates the traditional business disciplines ? marketing, management, accounting, finance, and information systems ? to give graduates the broad combination of skills and knowledge which is characterized by functional integration through information systems. Program Summary This hybrid curriculum will provide students with the necessary applied knowledge and skills in the field of management and information technology , and builds on and complements the excellent preparation in business administration and/or computer information systems they may already have. This program prepares students to make strategic business decisions and to utilize a variety of information technology solutions to support the goals of an organization. Graduates will process budgeting, management, project planning and leadership skills needed to be a global business leader. This bachelor degree program does not replace the associate's degree programs, but rather builds upon them. Students may enter as freshmen or apply for transfer into the program after earning an associate's degree and providing they meet the entry performance qualifications. Students may participate in BIG, Bronco Investment Group. The purposes of the group are to learn and evaluate investment opportunities; acquire knowledge about money; use money to make money; learn to make wise decisions regarding money and avoid major financial mistakes. The group uses an online simulator to buy and sell stocks each week at club meetings.
