The General Technology degree program allows students to design an individualized program of study in order to fulfill a unique career goal that cannot be met through any single technology program offered by the college. This program also provides an opportunity for undecided freshmen to find the educational path and future career for themselves. This is accomplished by selecting courses from two or more technical disciplines and developing a coherent technical program having both a major technical focus and support courses directly related to the career objective. This program is two years in length and builds on existing programs. Its first year is compatible with CSOET four year programs. Accordingly, General Technology will provide all students the opportunity to transfer to any of the four year CSOET programs seamlessly after the first year and after the second year with proper selection of elective courses.
