We emphasize helping individuals and families solve their own problems, such as those involving family relations, aging, nutritional planning, and family financial management. Course work covers topics in child development , nutrition, counseling, social work and others. You will also delve into the real world with a one-semester, full-time internship experience in a human service agency. This combination of course work and field work will well prepare you for immediate employment or graduate study, as well as introduce you to career possibilities.
