The associate of arts degree in English enables students to build a solid foundation for bachelor and graduate degrees in the English discipline. Both concentrations prepare students for the pursuit of higher degrees by giving students written communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills through the concentrated English classes and general requirements for the associate of arts.
