Coursework includes design and assembly techniques as well as shop practice techniques and shop safety. The course of study includes such basic disciplines of engineering technology as math, physics, statics, and materials science. Program Goals Understand and apply the basic design principles that relate to the field of mechanical engineering technology . Provide basic systems design and shop drawings using 2-D CAD and 3-D Solid Modeling. Identify the materials and processing of materials used in industry.
