Within the general goals of the Public Administration program, specific objectives have been designed to enable students to: 1. Articulate the origins and historical development of public administration; 4. Analyze the importance of public administration in modern governance as it relates to the community; 5. Discuss the role of the public administrator in the governance and problem-solving process; 6. Evaluate the role of public and private sector in the development and implementation of policy; and 7. Integrate theory and practice in a community internship- Project Demonstrating Competency (PDC).
