You?ll learn to define creativity, fluency, flexibility and originality as part of your training Your teaching education will examine creative problem solving, scientific inquiry, and models of thinking strategies and brain research as they relate to teaching gifted students. In this master?s in Education program you will learn how to address the social and emotional needs of creative GATE students by observing them interact with instructors. You will also learn procedures for teaching gifted and talented kids to maximize their full potential. And finally, you?ll learn to teach talented students using frameworks and models for developing curriculum appropriate for their individualized needs and styles. Graduates will be proven to comprehend concepts of gifted education , apply them in educational practice according to best practices, and demonstrate expertise through completing a Sustainable Education Project (SEP).
