Fire Technology - Schoolcraft College

Fire Technology from Schoolcraft College is a Campus Associate Fire Fighting degree that prepares you for a Fire Protection career. Recognizing the need for more highly skilled fire fighters, many municipalities now require additional education for their employees. The curriculum developed for the Associate in Applied Science Degree Program combines lecture with hands-on activities to prepare the student to respond to a variety of emergencies. Specialists in the field provide valuable input on both content and methodology. The Fire Technology Associate Degree Program is designed for students who wish to attend part time. All courses are not offered each semester. Students should work with the Counseling Center to set up a schedule that will work for them. Students who successfully complete all College Requirements qualify for an Associate in Applied Science Degree with emphasis on Fire Technology.
