Additionally, SCAD is affiliated with cultural institutions including the American Academy in Rome, the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and the American Association of Museums. B.F.A. art history program The B.F.A. program addresses visual arts of diverse periods, cultures and media from the ancient to modern. An analytical approach requires students to write research documents and to prepare professional presentations while exploring everything from the High Museum of Art in Atlanta to the medieval lure of Lacoste, France.
