Library Technology from San Bernardino Valley College is a Campus Associate Librarian degree that prepares you for a Education career. Library skills are fundamental to student success, especially in today?s information-laden society. The Library Technology Department offers one course (LIB 110) which is designed to teach students how to access both print and on-line information sources more efficiently and effectively. The remaining Library Technology courses are part of an associate of arts degree program designed for students who are interested in working as paraprofessionals in the library field. Taken alone, each course provides entry-level exposure to a particular library department or function.
