The History program at STAC comprises both upper ?level research seminars and introductory survey courses, to accommodate history majors, non-majors, and the student who is fulfilling core requirements. Students of history will receive background and preparation for careers in law, public administration, or public service and, of course, teaching. They will learn how to analyze problems, how to study evidence and construct an argument, how to read accurately and critically, and, most importantly, how to write clearly and forcefully.
