THE CURRICULUM The nursing curriculum, with its emphasis on caring and wholeness, is built on a broad base of liberal arts and professional knowledge. Each of the eight semesters includes nursing and liberal arts studies. Clinical practice begins in the sophomore year and continues for five semesters, culminating in the senior practicum, a concentrated experience in a setting of particular interest to the student. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Nurses who have graduated from Roberts Wesleyan are using their professional education in many different areas, such as hospitals, clinics, community health agencies, and schools, to name a few.
