Radiologic Technology from Rhode Island College is a Campus Bachelor Radiology degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. The radiologic technology program at Rhode Island College is a joint program in conjunction with Rhode Island Hospital?s School of Diagnostic Imaging. It is a comprehensive four-year program consisting of two years of General Education and cognate courses at Rhode Island College followed by two years of School of Diagnostic Imaging clinical education courses. Clinical education is held at Rhode Island Hospital, Hasbro Children?s Hospital, University Orthopedics, and Rhode Island Medical Imaging. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible to take the national certification examination offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Accommodations for part-time, evening students are built into the program. Mission Statement: The mission of the School of Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technology Program is to prepare its graduates to be competent in the art and science of Radiography. Program Goals: 1.
