History of the Program Over the past decade, Regis University has offered a wide variety of courses for educators in the field of process learning. Its nationally acclaimed Literacy Institutes drew over 3000 teachers, administrators and specialists from school districts throughout Colorado and other states. The Master of Arts in Education: Learning & Teaching Program grew out of those institutes. The program continues to evolve and now offers emphases in Learning & Teaching and Linguistically Diverse Education. Curricular Philosophy The Master of Arts in Education program is based on the principles and philosophy of process learning. From extensive multidisciplinary research, conditions of learning and structures of learning have been identified which in this program are applied across the disciplines.
