Candidates to the MBA program generally have significant work experience (a minimum of two years is expected) which contributes greatly to an exceptional learning environment and a network of colleagues. For online students, an optional residency is available each year in May. The event begins on a Thursday evening and concludes Friday afternoon. This is an excellent opportunity to meet professors and student colleagues in person. MBA Program Outcomes MBA graduates will: Develop business ideas based on strategic foresight that align with driving forces that will shape future markets and local communities. Develop marketing plans specific to customer/consumer and market needs in global markets. Create technology-innovation plans based on consumer needs that bring about growth in corporate products, services and ideas that align with innovation theory. Develop human resource systems and plans sensitive to the dynamics of corporate human behavior in different global contexts. Create financial analysis and accounting plans for prospective products and services for domestic or global introduction. Develop production plans and quality improvement plans for product manufacturing and service delivery in diverse global cultures and environments.
