Students in the Construction Engineering program have the opportunity to develop additional expertise in mechanical, electrical, and other areas of engineering through minors in these fields. Construction Engineering students complete three 12-week internships, usually during the summer and away from home. They work as paid employees of construction contractors and construction managers and perform increasingly responsible duties in field operations, office operations, and project management.
