Program Highlights Students explore, understand and apply constructs related to pure and applied design , space planning, building codes, lighting, furniture, finishes and equipment (FF&E) selection and specification, architectural graphics and marketing. Students design a variety of interior environments such as homes, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, libraries, theaters and corporate interiors. Students participate in real-world projects, such as redesigning health centers for the City of Philadelphia. Students enjoy state-of-the-art studio facilities and individual workspace in our 23,000-square-foot Architecture and Design Center. Graduates are prepared for professional positions with both residential and commercial design firms. Alumni have also established their own independent design firms.
