Hospitality And Tourism Management from Pensacola State College is a Campus Associate Hospitality and Tourism degree that prepares you for a Hospitality career. The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program prepares graduates for careers in the many varied areas of the hospitality/tourism industry. The program is designed for individuals wanting to enter or advance in a professional career in lodging, restaurants, tourism, travel, food service, catering, and beverage as well as many other management positions in the industry. Courses in the program prepare all students to work in any area of the hospitality industry. In addition, students select one from five emphasis areas, which allows them to gain additional management skills in a particular segment of the hospitality industry. The students completing the program will have gained knowledge and competencies in three areas: first in the management of people and other business resources; second in how to apply their administrative and management skills in any position in the industry; and third in skills related to one of the areas of emphasis. Students may receive dual credits toward diplomas and/or professional certificates with appropriate courses in the program.
