Instruction is offered in all phases of the Graphic Communications technology with emphasis placed on the operations of large and small offset presses, computer skills needed for the electronic prepress, technical skills required for the on-demand system operators and screen printing techniques required for employment and small business operation. Student Learning Outcomes The following program outcomes are units of knowledge which are to be accomplished throughout completion of the program: 1. Demonstrate the academic skills and have abilities to enter a career in Graphic Communications Technology with a foundation in the certificate area of their choice: Screen Printing or Digital Composition and Imaging or both. 2. Demonstrate critical thinking skills necessary to problem-solve situations and challenges and recognize the need for lifelong learning in the field of Graphic Communications Technology. 3.
