Church Ministry Music from Pacific Baptist College is a Campus Bachelor Religious Studies degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. The Pacific Baptist College Department of Music seeks to provide collegiate study and training for the serious-minded student and music courses on elective basis for any student. This is to supply churches with dedicated men and women trained to serve God in church music positions. Music students are required to choose a major and minor area of study in private instruction. Areas offered include keyboard, vocal, and band instruments. One of the areas pursued, either as a major or minor, must be keyboard unless proficiency as determined by the Music Department personnel is demonstrated at beginning of the program. Eight semesters of instruction are required per major; four semesters per minor. A senior recital in major performance areas is required during the last semester preceding graduation.
