Demonstrate the ability to teach other health care providers, clients and families. Explain and document relevant aspects of client treatment. Demonstrate active participation in discharge planning and follow-up care of clients. Demonstrate effective written, oral and nonverbal communication with clients, their families, colleagues, health care providers, and the public. Comply with and demonstrate an understanding of level of authority and responsibility; planning, time management, supervisory process, performance evaluation, policies and procedures; fiscal considerations for occupational therapy providers and consumers; and, continuous quality improvement.
