Student Learning Outcomes: Students will consider/consult appropriate code, standard or law in decision making. Students will meet the basic State of Ohio certification requirements for Volunteer Firefighter or FF1. Students will apply basic considerations of tort law to fire service situations. Students will write effective technical/medical reports. Students will complete a fire assessment center process. Students will perform firefighter duties in the field. Students will perform inspections pertaining to fire prevention. Students will perform safety analyses of various situations and identify hazardous materials.
