The program includes coursework on leading alternative energy systems and hands-on training in the maintenance and repair of these systems, including state of the art wind turbines, solar thermal panels and photovoltaic arrays. Student Learning Outcomes: Students will learn basic industrial wiring techniques and their proper application per the National Electric Code Students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of industry standards for safety and compliance. Students will understand and apply proper techniques for analyzing drawings. Students will demonstrate knowledge of alternative and sustainable energy sources. Students will demonstrate knowledge of building energy optimization and conservation (ALT200). Students will diagnose, repair and maintain equipment and processes.
