Co-Curricular Opportunities Training or technical skills are an important part of a parks and recreation specialists job and the School offers several opportunities to obtain certifications ranging from national association for interpretation in environmental education to wildland firefighting, law enforcement academy training and more. The School of Environment and Natural Resources is administratively part of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Collectively, there are over 35 student organizations that are directly related to majors within this area.
