Goal Candidates will earn the Washington State Residency Teaching Certificate and the Master in Teaching Degree simultaneously. Scope Post-graduate students commit to a three-to-five semester learning experience: fall, spring, and summer terms, in order to earn 30 credits for the MIT degree. The credit requirements include student teaching (9 to 14 credits) plus graduate level coursework (16 to 21 credits) not duplicated in the undergraduate program.
