Management and Leadership from Northland College is a Campus Bachelor Leadership degree that prepares you for a Business career. The Management and Leadership major is part of the Evening Degree Program at Northland College . The major is designed for adult students with junior standing who have also had two years of full-time post-high school work experience or relevant volunteer, homemaker, or military experience, which includes exposure to the functions of management. Students who complete the Management and Leadership major will be exposed to current theories and practices used by managers and leaders in business, not-for-profit institutions, and community and government organizations. Students may enroll in the Management and Leadership major each September, January, or May. Students take courses for four hours on Tuesday or Wednesday nights for sixteen months, for four consecutive sessions, and work with a core of adult students who are studying the topics in the major together. Students take one course at a time, each of which generally lasts five weeks. Students may take three courses per session. Courses in the major are taught primarily in an accelerated learning seminar format. Out-of-Class hands-on research projects are encouraged to allow students to study the business, government, not-for-profit, or community environments in which they work or have worked.
