You will be trained as a generalist to work in a range of settings with seniors, adults, adolescents, and children. Practicum courses are supervised clinical experiences that provide real-life experience combined with classroom learning. Personal and professional growth is enhanced through this learning method. The program integrates the National Community Support Skill Standards into the curriculum and is approved by the Council for Standards in Human Service Education.Classroom Graduates will be able to pursue many career paths. You may choose to transfer on to a bachelors program, or directly enter the work force. If you choose to enter the workforce directly, you could work in settings such as hospitals, schools, clinics, residential programs, and day treatment programs.
