Program Information The Physical Therapist Assistant program at Northeast will prepare you for a career where you will work under the direction of a physical therapist in providing patient treatment. The Physical Therapist Assistant program is an integrated two-year program. Students enroll through open admission as pre-PTA. The first semester of coursework consists of general education and preparatory courses. In order to be eligible for selection into the PTA program, and to continue through the program of study, you must earn a grade of ?C? or above in all program courses. Program graduates will be eligible to take the National Physical Therapy Examination for PTAs.
