Middle Grades Education from North Georgia College & State University is a Campus Bachelor Junior High Intermediate Middle School Education and Teaching degree that prepares you for a Education career. The Middle Grades Education Program is designed to prepare preservice educators for the teaching of students in grades four through eight, as consistent with the National Middle School Association and the Georgia Professional Standards Commission recommendations. The major emphasis of the Middle Grades Education Program is to develop teachers who can assist students in bridging the gap from childhood to adolescence and who can provide instruction within a supportive environment, leading to students? acquisition of facts, concepts, and generalizations in content areas.
