Exercise Science from North Carolina Wesleyan College is a Campus Bachelor Sport degree that prepares you for a Education career. The Exercise Science major assists in preparing students to enter a multitude of health-related careers including cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, physical therapy, corporate fitness/wellness, and strength and conditioning. This program also provides preparation for those interested in the fitness industry. Training for specific age groups such as elderly and young children are included along with traditional populations. The graduate will develop a sound science background with communication and writing skills necessary to apply the knowledge to practical hands-on situations. The program also prepares students who are interested in post-graduate study in Exercise Sciences and serves as an option for students interested in completing the prerequisites for admission into a variety of professional programs.
