The Public Communication curriculum provides the opportunity to develop and refine communication skills as well as to develop an understanding of the communication process. The Public Communication degree program enables graduates either to transfer to a four-year institution or to seek immediate employment in related fields where their communication skills would be an asset. Through careful selection of courses with an academic adviser, a Public Communication student can begin his/her pursuit of a career in various media industries such as journalism, public relations or advertising and marketing.
