Program Outcomes Graduates of this program will gain the knowledge and skills to be able to: Employ a variety of research and quantitative methods relevant to Sport and Recreation Management , with a special emphasis on coaching; Understand the broad concepts of the sport and recreation management industry; Analyze the dynamics of collegiate coaching, including sport psychology; Gain knowledge of relevant economic theories, financial management processes, and marketing strategies in sport; Achieve academic and practical foundations in coaching, with the ultimate goal of employment in college coaching ranks; Identify contemporary issues in the financial management, economics, and marketing of sport; Manage ethical issues and apply ethical decision-making models as they relate to sport; Possess and apply a working knowledge of legal issues specific to the sport industry.
