French from Nazareth College of Rochester is a Campus Bachelor Language degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. The study of French at Nazareth College is not simply about conjugating verbs or sitting in language labs. It is an immersive experience where students study French culture and literature , enjoy trips to Montreal, cook Breton-style dinners, and spend a year in Rennes, France. At the heart of the program is Maison Fran?aise, a residential hall for thirteen students interested in the French language and the Francophone culture, and a cultural meeting place for Le Cercle Fran?ais and Francophiles in the Rochester community. Movies, dinners, lectures, theatrical readings, or exhibits are held there regularly to enrich the student experience. For the past ten years, several Nazareth students have also been the recipients of a tutorial scholarship or a teaching assistantship in Votr?, France.
