Earning your degree also makes you eligible to qualify for your Level III Illinois Director Credential. The NLU Certificate of Advanced Study in Early Childhood Administration is designed for those of you who already have a master?s degree in education or who are early childhood professionals, such as preschool owners, Head Start component coordinators and consultants. How You Will Learn: Early Childhood Administration is taught using a cohort model, which means you will go through the program with the same group of 12-20 students. NLU graduates like the cohort model because of the support and friendships provided by their fellow students throughout the program. Students are required to attend three residencies lasting four days each at the beginning, middle, and end of the program.
