Students who enter this program are interested in working within a community , academic or governmental setting to address social problems including, but not limited to, teen pregnancy, child abuse, substance abuse and crime. How You Will Learn: The Community Psychology doctoral program is taught using a cohort model, which means you will go through the program with the same group of 15 students. The program is designed to give you the opportunity to continue to meet your family and/or work obligations. You will participate in class sessions one evening per week during each term, you will also have internship and externship learning opportunities. This program is offered by the NLU College of Arts and Sciences. What You Will Learn: Students will learn methodological training necessary to adhere to quality research standards.
