In addition to the standard professional courses required for licensure by the American Board of Funeral Service Education and the Conference of Funeral Examining Boards of the United States, Inc., advertising, communications, bereavement, grief and other issues specific to the profession and community outreach techniques are also covered. Career and Graduate Study Options Students with a bachelor degree in Funeral Home Management, upon passing the National Board Examination and completion of apprenticeships, are eligible for licensure as funeral directors and embalmers in all 50 states.
