Paralegal Studies from Mississippi University for Women is a Campus Bachelor Paralegal degree that prepares you for a Legal career. The Paralegal Studies program at the Mississippi University for Women was instituted in 1979, and received its initial American Bar Association approval in February 1987. The program has been re-approved by the ABA in 1992, 1997 and 2002. Ours was the first ABA-approved program in the State of Mississippi and continues to be the flagship program in the state. We offer a four-year baccalaureate degree in Paralegal Studies, which will enhance the student\'s job prospects and performance. Prather, is the former Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court and a member of our Advisory Board.
