In addition to the specific field of marine maintenance, the graduate of this program of study would also be qualified as an entry-level mechanic in the field of small engine repair and automotive engine repair . This program leads to the MGCCC diploma. Students who complete diploma requirements or 36 semester hours may elect to pursue the MGCCC Associate of Applied Science degree in Occupational education. MGCCC will administer the MS?CPAS (Mississippi Career Planning and Assessment System) prior to program completions in career and technical programs.
