MATC offers two Aviation Technician programs geared toward instructing you in all phases of aircraft/powerplant maintenance . They are governed by the Federal Aviation Administration. You are required to attend a minimum of 400 hours of the General Aviation Technician component (offered each fall semester) prior to enrolling in either technical diploma program. Students must maintain a 2.0 grade-point average in the general component to be eligible for the Airframe and Powerplant programs. To successfully complete either the Airframe or Powerplant program, you must attend 750 hours of the respective section, and you are required to pay for any missed class time. Career Outlook ?
