Certificate of Completion A certificate of completion is issued to Program Completers who obtain all Occupational Completion Points (OCP) pass the basic skills requirements for the program and pass the State Board of cosmetology issued exam. The program focuses on broad, transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the cosmetology industry: planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, underlying technological principles, labor, community, health, safety, and environmental issues. Students will learn: communication skills, human relations and employability skills, safe and efficient work practices, Florida cosmetology law and rules; nails specialist /facial specialist and the related chemistry, bacteriology, anatomy and physiology and the art of make-up.
