In developing their own work, students follow two tracks: practical research directed on production and implementation of a body of artwork, and conceptual research which builds a solid critical and historical foundation for artistic practice. The 60-credit curriculum (48 studio, 12 liberal arts) for this full-time, two-year MFA prepares students to realize complex artistic projects and provides the intellectual and technical skills for professional practice and teaching.
