Women and men who enroll in the bachelor of science in nursing program at Marquette take a four-year, generic pre-licensure sequence of courses. Generic pre-licensure means that students join the nursing program directly out of high school. Students begin introductory nursing course work in the freshman year and are guaranteed space in the program, including clinicals through graduation, provided that academic performance is satisfactory. Unfortunately, transfer applications from students attending other colleges or universities are no longer considered to our College of Nursing as our traditional BSN class is at enrollment capacity.
