In our graphic design program, we'll teach you how to use the techniques of studio art to create designs and illustrations for commercial clients using the latest digital design tools. By combining a strong studio art foundation with computer proficiency, you'll have the knowledge to approach any design project. And we will make sure you are marketable -- in every course, you'll produce materials for your portfolio that are both practical and conceptual; and in many courses, you'll have the opportunity to do work for real clients, giving you the experience of carrying a project from its conception to completion. Each major in Graphic Design selects a topic or project to work on during the senior year. All work for the course is new and not samples from all four years, and each culminates in a capstone exhibition.
