The civil engineering program at Manhattan College was founded in 1892 and has continued without interruption since then. It is the oldest engineering degree program at the College. Over the years the program's curriculum has been broadened to include environmental engineering and, most recently, construction management to meet the changing needs of society. The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department offers a broad, traditional undergraduate curriculum leading to a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree.
