Program Outcomes: The following have been identified as Program Outcomes for the Printing Program at Madison Area Technical College: 1. Plan and produce for single and two offset color printed materials. 2. Perform traditional and digital prepress functions necessary to produce proofs and plates in an electronic/film based/computer-to-plate work environment for single and two offset color printed materials. 3. Perform prepress process to position and organize elements for flatwork such as flyers and brochures. 4. Setup, operate, and maintain various offset printing presses to accomplish single and two offset color work. 5. Setup, operate, and maintain various bindery and finishing equipment relative to custom orders. 6. Work as a cooperative team member. 7. Demonstrate reliable and ethical behavior including, but not limited to, assuming responsibility for decisions, actions, professional growth, and displaying initiative and time management skills. 8.
