The Loyola Jazz Club has presented masterclasses with jazz greats such as Ellis Marsalis, Nicholas Payton, Terence Blanchard, and Michel Camilo. Loyola is the proud home of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance, one of the most competitive jazz studies programs in the world, where students can attend open rehearsals conducted by jazz legend Terence Blanchard.
