As part of its training program, which is accredited in speech-language pathology, the department maintains a clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders including articulation, dysfluency, cleft palate, voice disorders, aphasia, cerebral palsy, children's language disorders, and hearing disorders. Clinical services are available to any individual, University student, or community member having speech, hearing, or language problems. Services are free to LSU students.
